It’s been a while
It’s been far too long since I’ve written anything here. I like blogging and I love the micro.blog community. I’m going to ease my way back in by posting in some of my favorite photos from the last few months.

Random photos (pt2)
I made an unexpected journey to my home state, Michigan, last October. I spent an afternoon walking around Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan’s campus. And trying out my new iPhone 13’s camera.
I took many (possibly the majority) of my undergrad classes in this building. Seeing it again as a 35 year old man made me feel many feelings.

Random photos
I haven’t posted in a while. I enjoyed posting pictures here, but a lot has happened over the last two years. I’m breaking that streak by posting a few of my favorites from the last couple years. No rhyme, reason, or theme yet.
I went back to San Diego around Halloween, and here’s one of my favorite pictures from that trip. I hadn’t seen Torrey Pines in five years, and I teared up seeing my favorite spot in all of California again.

My Year in Photos, Lockdown Edition
I haven’t posted here in a while. 2020 had too much going on and I didn’t feel like I could process most of it, much less put it into words.
Some time ago, I spent a week posting some of my favorite pictures that I’d taken over the prior year. I’m going to try that again.

View from a walk
I’ve been walking a lot over the last couple months. This is one of my favorite pictures that I’ve taken on my walks (Carkeet Park ).

One more from CA
One of my quarantine projects has been cleaning and organizing my photo library. I found one of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken. (Torrey Pines Beach).

View from my (old) front door
I left California in 2016. It was the right move for me at the time, but I still miss it every day. I’m missing it more in quaratine.

There are still sunsets in quarantine
The last couple months have been strange and scary and I don't really have words to describe all the emotions I've gone through. But there are still sunsets and I'm very lucky.
(Green Lake sunset last Friday.)
